What is BYOK and why does SynquoRum require it?

BYOK means Bring Your Own Key. You supply your own API keys for each AI provider and pay those providers directly for token usage. SynquoRum charges only a flat monthly subscription for the orchestration platform — there is no markup on inference costs.

How is SynquoRum different from single-provider AI chat tools?

Single-provider chat tools are interfaces to one AI. SynquoRum is an orchestration layer above multiple AIs — send one prompt to several providers in parallel, compare the responses, or run AI-vs-AI deliberation with role assignments. It complements those tools, it does not replace them.

What is Privacy Lull and Privacy Silence?

Privacy Lull is a free standard feature included in all plans (Free, Standard, Pro, Maximum). It detects and redacts PII (emails, phone numbers, API keys, credit cards, addresses, names) before the prompt is sent to AI providers, then restores the values in the response. Privacy Silence ($30/month, Standard or higher) is an optional add-on that additionally distributes the prompt across multiple providers so no single provider sees the full context.

What is the difference between individual and team plans?

Individual plans (Free / Standard / Pro / Maximum) are for a single user. Team plans are for organizations: each team plan equals the corresponding individual plan price plus $3 per team member per month. For example, Team Standard with 5 members costs $25 + $3 × 5 = $40/month total.

Yes. SynquoRum supports Ollama, LM Studio, and LocalAI running on your own machine via a Local provider type. Prompts in Local mode never leave localhost.

Which countries can sign up for SynquoRum?

Accepted Answer

SynquoRum follows Anthropic's supported-regions list. The following are blocked at sign-up: Hong Kong, Macao, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Libya, Mali, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Yemen. Other small jurisdictions may be added as Anthropic expands coverage.
